How do I paint a gilded mirror?

Have bronze gilding decorative mirror that I want to paint black or gray. How do I remove or paint over?

You will probably need to sand it a little first. Then just over the mirror with spray paint the frame.
I would cover the mirror and spray the frame with a good primer, I prefer Zinsser 1-2-3 in gray color as the gray is easier to cover.
You need only give it a good cleaning so the pain will adhere to it and spray paint or brush on in your desired color. I repainted our bathroom light with a cool metallic effect that you can see here.

I would use spray paint. use a primer first to cover the old color well.
