I usually buy one of the wreath forms at Dollar Tree and then hot glue my flowers onto it. Here's an example - https://www.thesprucecrafts.com/making-festive-fall-wreath-on-budget-2736413
Hello, Yes done this many times! Need a wire hanger that you can bend out into a circle. Choose one that will be strong enough for the purpose. Having done that wind round strips of old fabric or plastic bags or anything that will give you a padded ring. Make sure the back of the ring will not score the front of your door. Now for the fun bit - Collect from where ever you find them ( Flowers and foliage in the colours you want) arrange them into a circle on the table, then start binding them to the frame with string or wire. When finished, if a little thin add some baubles or bows or even artificial fruit. You can either use the hanger hook turned over a bit to secure to the door(Look great with a Big Bow to hide it) or bend the hook down out of sight. Enjoy the journey, It'll look great when you are finished.!!
