You have to keep cleaning, cleaning, cleaning. Enzyme cleaner made for dog odor is one option. Vinegar and water is another. The enzyme cleaner is found in the pet section at local stores like Menards, WalMart, etc. With dogs who occasionally have accidents in the house I have found that owning a carpet cleaner is a good investment. You can get a better cleaning if the issue is with your carpet or upholstered furniture that can be cleaned. Professional cleaning for rugs and carpet is also an option. If you have dogs that keeping going in the house you have to keep cleaning and if you have rugs and carpeting that are ruined due to dog urine you may have to remove it. The dog urine can soak through the carpet into the wood floor under the carpet and then you have an issue that requires more cleaning to remedy.
