Use a solution of 50/50 vinegar and water to wipe down the freezer.
Empty and turn off freezer. Prop door open. Give thorough with soap and water. Check for location of drain. Sometimes stuff can slip into drain and cause clog. Many fridge/freezers have a filter that can be changed. Check owners manual if you have it or go online to maker and see if they have one you can read. Often customer service offers help line or at least email advice. Also check drip pan on bottom of unit and clean it out. You can safely use diluted pine sol to run small amount through drain line. Lemon juice can also be used. Leave door open to dry completely before turning back on. Place a box of Arm and Hammer in freezer and fridge to help stop odors and change out 4-6 weeks. Pour used A&H down drain and flush to kill odors there.
