I painted a dresser in Farrow and ball paint .am going to seal w/ general Fin. High P top coat. But was thinking of using a dark wax on the Asian carving part for some depth. Will all these mixtures work together. ????top coat first then wax? Or wax first then top coat????

You can apply wax over polycrylic/polyurethane but not the other way around. Wax should be the last thing you add to the finish and tends to soften the look of a poly coat . You can use dark wax to highlight the carving and/or add distressing if that's the look you want. Good luck!
Apply the dark wax over the poly. You also don't HAVE to apply the poly, you could just use the wax if you'd like.
