Don't block the ability for your mail carrier to be able to safely access your mailbox !!! Also make sure your house number is visable !!! Put it on the mailbox door front , if the side numbers are covered . This is very important !!!!!! Not only so you can get your mail and packages delivered ( remember companies use a lot of extra help during the holidays, most are not familiar with your area ) but police and emergency services need to be able to find your home easily !
