Can I use cork flooring to make accent wall paneling?

I’m redoing my living room into a kind of ‘glam’ farmhouse/“Fixer Upper” look in white, black, with touches of rustic gold, grey, and perhaps teal. One accent wall will have a fairly large white mirror, 2-3 short, white floating shelves, and artwork on it. Anyone tried putting engineered cork flooring planks/strips horizontally on a wall as paneling? I can buy two boxes of “engineered” cork flooring (approx 40 ft) for $75 from a local seller.Thoughts?Thank You.
Hi there, WHY NOT! I have it, Put on natural, after a few years decided to paint it and that looks good too, and it helps insulate the wall............
