You can make a faux box that is three sides and a front. As long as you aren't going to use them.
A console table, (open on the front to let out the heat) a small bench of some kind...(thinking piano bench), a wooden shelf attached to the wall over the radiator. I am trying to think of things you can use for the top to lay things on without stopping the heat from "radiating".
