How can I make a display for clip-on earrings?
I'm trying to sell my dozens of pairs of beautiful old clip-on earrings - will be selling at a flea market. They have all different sizes and shapes and different types of backs, including screw-ons. Does anyone have ideas on how to display them, other than just having them sitting in a bowl in little plastic bags? I will have to put prices on each individual pair, so will probably have them in little bags anyway, but want to show them off a bit. Thanks!
Hi ! for the screw back type , Can you slide them on a thin dowel ? Or clip on one's , just clip them to the dowel . Or , if you are putting them in little bags use clothes pins to clip them to a dowel or clothes line . You can decorate the clothes pin by glueing a jewel to them or the a string how ...
Great, I like the dowel idea, maybe suspend it from the bottom of a shelf - thanks!
Hi Roxy,
You can buy quite cheaply little boxes on eBay etc. or clip them to a
polystyrene or cardboard card or pin them onto a suitable fabric. Good luck! You could always cut out a lady shaped head, or just an ear or buy an acrylic display for the purpose maybe.........
I like the lady-head cut out idea, many thanks!
I'm thinking something like this. You could build it out of thin wood if you can't find one. https://www.wish.com/product/53cc263571fdae0f6404d2b8?hide_login_modal=true&from_ad=goog_shopping&_display_country_code=US&_force_currency_code=USD&pid=googleadwords_int&c=%7BcampaignId%7D&ad_cid=53cc263571fdae0f6404d2b8&ad_cc=US&ad_curr=USD&ad_price=7.00&campaign_id=6487461784&gclid=EAIaIQobChMI6sS-zImD5QIVlpOzCh20GQOqEAQYBSABEgICzPD_BwE
That's neat, thanks for the link!

I had done a search on Hometalk for clip-on earrings, but completely missed all these displays. It'll be fun looking at these projects and figuring something out. Thanks!
