How can I remove old wax build up on wood furniture?

My kitchen chairs have wood trim around the upholstered seat backs. I noticed recently the gummy wax build up on the wood and since I’ve seen it I can’t ‘unsee’ it! Any suggestions?

    Hello there,

Simple task is to use a small nail brush and soapy water and of course a cloth or kitchen roll to take of the suds. It's just a build up of grease from use over time.

A wood safe degreaser and a plastic putty knife. Spray, let sit, then scrape.
