How do I keep armadillos from digging up my yard?
Where I live in Florida was hit really hard by Hurricane Michael a year ago. We lost more than 100 trees on our property due to the storm. For the past 6-8 months we have been trying to get our lawn back in shape and it's starting to look like a lawn again except every night now we seem to have an army of armadillo digging it up. The whole neighborhood seems to be plagued with them. I know they are after the grubs but I don't want to spray any harsh chemicals on the lawn. Are they other environmentally safe ways to rid the lawn of them? Or is there something that will deter the armadillos from coming in the yard?

Sprinkle red pepper flakes where they are digging. The best place (cheapest) to purchase them is your local dollar store. Moth balls are banned in many areas because they are highly toxic to the environment.
