How can I hide a small supply area next to my refrigerator?
I have a small area of floor space (about 8 in.) from my refrigerator to the adjoining room. This is where I keep my broom, etc. I would prefer it not be seen and there is no wall there, just a wide opening to the next room. Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks

Hang a curtain with a tension rod.
Can you use a folding screen?
I like the idea of a curtain with a tension rod, mentioned above. If the space doesn't have two walls to hold a tension rod, could you screw a couple of hooks into the ceiling, a couple of inches in each direction, beyond the two closest corners of the fridge; place the tension rod (or any curtain rod, as the tension wouldn't apply) onto the hooks, with a curtain on the rod, long enough to cover your space. I drew two different views of what I have in mind, and posted a picture of the drawing. (Click to enlarge)
