Can you recommend a DIY cleaning solution for slate tile?

I just bought a used coffee table that has some slate tiles on it. hubs Stripped and restained it. Now I need to know the best way to clean and care for the slate . I know my email name says George but we changed our url so I need to figure out how to put my name on there too. 😊 thank you. Jan Anderson.

Hi Janis, use a mild soap and water for any messes.
Here is a post I wrote for an old marble or slate top I redid.
I would Seal it with a non-yellowing sealer.
then just water on a clean rag

Seal the Slate otherwise it will absorb everything. The just use a damp cloth.
