What natural cleaner can I use to get rid of household odors?

Hi Delores, one of he easiest ways to control odors is to buy a bag of bbq briquettes and place them in various places around your home. They can be placed in drawers, at the back of cabinet shelves, etc. I did this in a musty smelling basement of an old house and it worked very well. Just be sure to use the plain briquettes, NOT the ones infused with fire starter! The briquettes can be placed in paper bags, or in a cup or glass.

White vinegar works wonders. However, you may need to replace old carpets, paint, or other things that are holding odors. Proper ventilation is the key to eliminating future odors.

Delores: Janice is right... I've even just put slit-open bags underneath beds. (I put a couple in a sock to keeps shoes fresh!)

Vinegar does work. Add a few drops of essential oil choosing a scent

you like. For me it is Bergamot. A light orange sent. Or you could add

orange rinds.
