I use Krud Kutter original concentrate. Make a solution in spraybottle. You can find it ready to use in spray bottle. I spray on and let it set for a couple of minutes. It breaks down grime and polish. Then wipe of with damp microfiber cloth. If you want cabinet shinier after cleaning, I used furniture restore. Made my 20 year old cabinets look new.
I clean mine with Murphy's oil or with Old English. Old English comes in light or dark, pine is commonly light. You can find it where they sell furniture polish. A little goes a long way and helps restore the moisture in the wood as well.
