I think you can close them.
I would wait. Paint dries outside in. They may feel dry and not tacky on the surface but may not have cured on the underneath. The pressure of the hinges on closed doors can cause them to stick or paint can peel when opened.
The longer you wait the better. I painted a bathroom vanity and to this day, they still stick just a bit if they're not opened often. Be patient now to avoid frustration later. :)
If these were my doors, I would wait, another day cannot hurt and as William says, the paint dries from the outside in.
Hi ! I would wait !!! Considering how much work went into redoing them , and they look really nice ! Be patient and wait a little longer ! 😊
Acrylic paints (water based) take up to 30 days to cure. Oil based paints take up to 7 days. You can go ahead and use the cabinets now, but expect the stickyness for awhile. Oil based paints dry to a tougher film and are more durable, but has the smell no one likes.
Wait as long as you possibly can! The longer the paint cures the longer the finish will last!
