How do we remove carpet glue from new carpet?

    Ask a carpet installer. Heard one tell my aunt how to. Sorry I didn't help her on that project

    it depends on the type of glue. Read the label for instructions for removal. If it is something as easy as Elmers' glue that is water soluble then use water.

    Hi Debbie, test this out on spot that is out of plain view, To get adhesive out of carpet, such as household glue, remove as much of the glue as possible from the carpet by blotting with a damp towel or using a spoon or knife to scrape up the adhesive if it has dried. Then, pour distilled white vinegar onto a towel and wipe the area thoroughly for at least 1 minute.
