What are the dimensions of the space you have to work with?
Is it tall enough to stand up in? Is there a doorway leading into this space?

Just saw an idea where someone put a wine cellar closet under the stairs with glass doors and lights. Looked amazing. Just another idea:)
I added shelves to mine and store things like vacuum cleaner and suitcases. It's also a great craft nook.
