Wipe weekly with Lysol disinfectant wipes. If it is wood you may have to replace it as I have tried to scrub and it takes off the paint. If it is a plastic seat a good cleaner and a plastic scrubber should do it.

    Hi Charmie,

Try making a paste of baking soda and water. Put that on the stain, let it sit for a while, then spray with some vinegar. Once the fizzing stops, use a brush to scrub it the rinse. If it's on the actual seat cover, I'd replace it if that didn't work. If it's on the bowl, it should come off. Wishing you the best.

Charmie....Have you tried bleach? Is it possible to paint it...may sand a little to help it adhere

  • Sometimes the paint wears off the toilet seat and it just needs to be replaced. If bleach isn't removing it, then it's probably time to replace it.

Lysol Lime & Rust Remover Toilet Bowl cleaner, comes in a black squirt bottle. Scrub with Scrub Daddy or Mr. Clean Magic Eraser. If stubborn, use a scouring stick to scrub.
