I didn't really have any experience with carpentry, but this project was so easy that even my 14 year old son could have done it.

We turned my center counter to a revolving, rustic outdoor storage and transformed our cluttered patio to an awesome view.

We needed extra storage In the patio to put some gardening supplies and tools but I didn't want to use the outdoor space for a storage cabinet.

With all of this clutter blocking the way, I couldn't open the sliding door and it was really an eyesore.

First I screwed the frame to the center counter, and then the roof strip for the wall of the storage.

It turned out to be a very neat kind of storage. No need to put on doors, because this part is facing the wall.

It's 6 feet tall, 20 inches in depth and 48 inches wide.

I used 2x2 wood for the frame. 5/8" x 1 3/8" x 47 7/8" roof strip for the wall, and 1x3x8 strip for moulding.

This is the back but facing the patio that looks like a wall. I sprayed water sealant for rain and weather protection. I hung some indoor plants that don't need too much sun that I also bought from Home Depot to decorate it.

Now the messy patio became a good place to relax while enjoying the outdoor and garden view.
