Hello. I would suggest to try clear nail polish first, it’s probably more safe use near your skin, safety tested wise and more durable than a craft product.

A girl I grew up with painted with clear fingernail polish. She was allergic to silver.

  • Mod Podge is water based, so it will wash off. Another vote for clear nail polish. I used to do that as a kid.

    Clear Mail Varnish every time!

I don't suggest you do that. First, you don't know how your skin can react to this glue. You can even have a hidden allergy and a sharp reaction (it often happens to pretty toxic products). Moreover, you may damage your skin if you try to get it off (I think you will do it sometime, and this glue is pretty strong). So better avoid the such idea. My daughter also wanted to do a similar thing with my mood ring because she thought the glue would fix the problem of our finger's different sizes. Luckily got to know it before she found the glue

Another vote for clear nail polish, the Modge Podge will wash off becasue it is water based, clear nail polish is not.

Another vote for nail polish. It is durable yet not harmful since a lot of people already use this around their fingernails. You should be able to get away with only using the nail polish on the area that is in direct contact with your finger.

Clear Nail Varnish is the way to go.
