How can I clean slime out of carpet?

How can I get slime off my carpet? I didn’t know it was there until I moved the platform rocker. So it is hard and dry. I googled it and it said to use vinegar I did, now I have a mess, it looks like poop. Any suggestions?

Usually, you will need to use vinegar and baking soda on carpet stains. First, baking soda is sprinkled, then vinegar is sprayed on top.
