    Framing is expensive, whether you have the skills to do it yourself or take it to a framer. This painting which fills almost all the wall; ceiling to floor would be about $300 to frame if it was a home made job. The larger the canvas the wider the frame must be which is more expensive than a narrower frame. I just looked at Peggy's link and I think "large" must be open to different interpretations!     Sandy...I have purchased a frame the size I need or used an old one I have and removed the back and glass and glued to the canvas. Looked nice.
