    Hi Shirley,

I'd start by sprinkling a cup of baking soda into the toilet. Let that sit a while, then add 1/2-1 cup of vinegar. Once it has stopped fizzing, use the toilet brush to scrub it clean. If that doesn't work many people have success with CLR rust remover. Wishing you the best.

Already have the bowl pretty clean, it is under the rim---I guess I'll try the CLR unless you have better idea. Thank you so much!

Lysol Lime & Rust Remover Toilet Bowl cleaner, comes in a black squirt bottle. Scrub with Scrub Daddy or Mr. Clean Magic Eraser. If stubborn, use a scouring stick to scrub.

Flush the toilet and then pour a quarter cup of Borax into it. Use your toilet brush to swish it around. Next, add one to two cups of vinegar and let the mixture sit for 30 minutes. You should be able to scrub the stains away!
