Maybe make an extra large frame over a sheet or two of plywood to hang over it? You can then just paint it (after covering the seams and texture with drywall compound) to match the wall and hang pictures on it if your not into finding a really large piece of artwork!

You could cover them with removable Contact paper or even a solid color strippable wallpaper. Then use Velcro to add your own artwork or pictures to the wallpaper for a unique look. Even a solid color fabric might work as a background for your artwork. When it's time to leave the apartment, just remove the Contact or wallpaper, polish the mirrors and go. Another possible solution could be to cover the whole area with a tapestry of your choice to create an accent wall. Think about any alternative to the things suggested that comes to mind after reading this idea. Hopefully something will inspire you. Wishing you the best.

What about hanging drapes over the whole area like it's a giant window?

No, do not even think about painting over these mirrors! Besides being unlikely that this would be permitted, you will have a huge mess to try to undo when it comes time to move out. The likely damage to the mirrors will result in you losing your damage deposit, and possibly even being fined for making 'unapproved changes'.

You could try some privacy film! Easier to remove than Contac paper. Comes in many decorative designs. Amazon has lots of privacy film for great prices.

You could put shelving in front of them

Wasted space. Put some book shelves in front of them. Hang drapes and a console table in front. Or a sofa.

A large tapestry rug that can hung to cover the mirrors. I also agree about getting a curtain rod or rods (I don’t know how long the length is) and adding drapes over the mirrors.

Think about moving

1. Get some nice crown molding strips from Home Depot or Lowe's, and put one huge frame around them all. You can use removable heavy duty tape to hold it all up there so that it's not permanent. Or frame them individually, also with crown molding that you can paint and tape up, and cover the glass with decorative privacy film (Amazon) or a cut up shower curtain to make it look like those pictures that come in sections that you hang close together to make piece (sort of like https://lifestyle.allwomenstalk.com/beautiful-art-pieces-for-your-home/2/ )

2. Or, like others suggested, hang drapes from ceiling to floor across the entire wall to cover the mirror and put a sofa in that space. You can buy single panel long drapes for really inexpensive from Amazon. Hang the drapes you won't open on PVC pipe instead of curtain rods cause it's cheaper and only use curtain rods for the drapes over the windows.

3. Get two inexpensive matching shelves that fit right underneath each window. Move the curtain rods over the windows up to the same height as the top of the mirrors. Hang long ceiling to floor drapes to the left of the window on the left side and to the right of the window on the right side to cover those little mirrors. Put a couch in front of those mirrors between the shelves.

There's so many different ways you can stage it all to make it look intentional. :)

If the mirrors have been glued on, taking them off with the intention that it will be 'only temporarily' will likely cause too much damage to the drywall underneath to facilitate reinstalling them securely back up on to the wall.

Tougher DIY solution - Build a frame around them and stretch a shower curtain into canvas art that can hang over top of multiple mirrors.

Put together 2x4s and frame out floor to ceiling from window to window you can cover in drywall. Fake walls will make your windows look recessed. You'll only lose about 4 to 6 inches from the room.

I would get stick up wallpaper in a accent color or floral print and cover each onr to make it look like pucture frame borders you see on alot of walls in homes lately.

I would get a china closet and place it in front of the mirrors. It'll block most of the mirrors and if you still have mirrors peeking out you can place two large faux ficus trees on each side.
