Is the porch heated in the winter? If not, then I would not recommend tile, as it would feel very cold on underfoot.

What are you installing over, wood or concrete?

Wood will flex and ceramic tiles will not like that. And this means using 1/2”-5/8” exterior grade floor under-layment.

Most sheet vinyls will not tolerate the sand & abrasive dirt bits that will mar the surface, even if you find one that will tolerate freezing temps without being brittle.

I would look for outdoor rugs that are on Fall Clearance. They can be tacked down at the edges with thick double stick tape and can be hosed off in the driveway in the Spring.

If it’s polypropylene or polyolefin fibers- They love grease splatters from buttered popcorn drops, potato chips & BBQ grill splatters. The oil will absorb & wick out in all directions, attracting dirt into the fibers. So, lots of soap on the oil-based stains.
