You can remove the doors, fill in the holes left by hinge removal or frame the opening.

I bought mini barn door hardware, made for cabinet door thickness panels.
I used vinyl “foil” finished 12” wide shelves, hung vertically, like sliding door panels.
If you have a Menards near you, they’ve these on sale about every 4 weeks.
Also, 2x2’s screwed into the ceiling joists are perfect for hanging the barn door hardware. Paint to match.
For open cabinets it can really be fun to paint the inside a different color!
