How can I repair a dresser drawer that is off & keep it from falling?

    Yep, a photo would help. Need to see what you have. Drawer slides, side rails, dust frame? Too many variables.

    You need to first find out what’s happening with it. There are several types of drawer glides that are used. It could also slide on what’s known as a dust frame. Could be that a drawer glide came loose, or the dust frame is coming apart. The first picture is of a dust frame in a dresser I built. The next three are just a few different types that are used (there are more). The ones I prefer, and use almost exclusively, are the ball bearing type shown in the second picture.
