How can I remove rust from fabric?

I have a white shirt that got rust spots on it. I really love the shirt and would love to know how to get them out. The material is t shirt fabric.

try vinegar or lemon juice!
Try CLR, it is a pretty safe product, I would, however, test it on a hidden area first if possible.
Might be hard but I would try Naval Jelly. I think it is the safest for fabric.
I've heard that oxyclean will remove rust. I haven't tried it, though.
