What is a good evergreen ground cover?

Ground cover-Want to take up bricks and plant a ground cover ...with walking stones.what variety of cover would you recommend ? Marra has full sun most of the time

    Go to your local nursery for best advice for your area and region. I find it takes quite awhile for going covers to fill in. Expect a lot of weed pulling. I think your brick looks wonderful.

    Ajuga is fast, hardy, evergreen (purple actually) and a bonus is the purple spring flowers. It overtakes weeds too.

    Jasmine is the best. small leaves and stems make it easy to trim, hearty to temperature changes, easy to maintain, stays green year round.

    With ground foliage covering this area instead of hardscape materials, such as concrete or brick, there will be the dilemma of how to keep the dirty water from draining into the pool after watering the plants.

    'Just a thought that ground cover might not be very practical.
