I have no idea
There is some great help here! If this is your first time reupholstering, I would suggest trying your hand at an easier reupholstery job first. Or something you don't care about. Also doing it with someone to help is a major bonus!
An armchair can be partially re-upholstered at home and you’ll need access to a sewing machine, a staple gun and a hot melt glue gun.
After upholstery fabric that compliments the existing fabric (which will still be see in some areas) I’d wash & dry it to pre-shrink it.
Then start making templates or patterns that are based on a seamed piece of new fabric stretched and racked over the wear areas- like a sling or band aid.
The tacking will be done with the stapler, so you may have to take apart part Los of the chair to get to where you can tack the new seamed sling pieces.
I would double stitch those seams, BTW.
Any exposed staples get a surface trim, like cording or brick a black, hot melt glued over them.
