There are dozens of uses. Personally, I have used it on squeaky hinges, to remove rust and to lubricate tracks of a stuck window. Just aim the straw that comes with it, and lightly apply to your project. Personally, I like the new cans with the permanently attached straw that flips out of the way when not in use.
