How do I fix the bottom of an old milk can?

how do I fix the bottom of an old milk can. it has none. what do I need to buy to put in it just to keep artificial flowers in? something that bends

    Measure the diameter. If 9” or less, I would just use an aluminum disposable pie or cake tin. Then add some florist beads from a dollar store for some weight.

    The diameter is about a foot and a half. But that is a good idea. I could maybe use a roasting foiled pan. Thank you so much for the info

    I wouldn't bother with any bottom at all. Just set the milk can over your arrangement which you have put in a smaller container.

    Measure the base diameter, then go to an Hvac supply house and buy a duct end cap closest to that diameter. It's made of galvanized sheet metal and has bendable tabs on it that should hold it tight.
