How can I paint a metal pot for use as a planter?
I've got a pot (the dark colored metal cookware with light colored specks; galvanized I think it's called) that I'm going to plant succulents in. Any ideas other than plain old spray paint?
Hi Barb, I would use a metal spray paint and really rough up the pot before painting it. That should work great!
Thanks
I would use chalk paint. It will have a nice matt finish which looks great with succulents.
I've got lotsa homemade chalk paint.
Paint stripes or polka dots.
Yes! Even swirls
And I thank you.
Galvanized is a grey matte finish.
The speckled is enamelware
Use enamel paint on enamelware.
Thanks for the information and suggestion
Sand it with coarse sanding paper and then smooth with fine paper...paint
Thank you
