Rodents: stop where they’re getting in by stuffing steel wool in there.

Roaches, a powdered boric acid product, like Roach Pruff (dollar store has a knock off). Food grade diatomaceous earth works too. Put under the stove, along baseboards.

I use those glue traps that I buy at W-Mart.They are great, when they get full I just throw away and put a new one out.

  • Call an exterminator for the roaches, they hide and breed in places you can't get to. And home remedies will never have you truly roach free. As to rodents, tidy up the property so they have no reason to visit. If you are feeding animals outside, pick up and bring food inside at night. I live in a semi rural area and have fruit trees. A certain amount of rodents are to be expected as they feed off downed fruit it not picked up daily and even will eat off the trees or other detectable delights you might have in your garden. I spray the perimeter of my property once a month with vinegar which does help some. Must be reapplied after every rain event. Where I live, it hardly ever rains.
