Pillows can be made by cutting a rectangle from cardboard (the side you want plus half an inch on all sides to allow for seams) and trace it on the shower curtain. Put the right sides together and sew them, turn them right side out and stuff with quilt batting or whatever you choose to use.

Cut and sew the shower curtains just as you would any other fabric. Just don't use plastic. It'll rip and the stuffing will come out. If you need the pillows to be waterproof or water resistant--like to use for cushions on a patio, get waterproofing spray in the camping section of your local dept store. Make sure it is safe to use on that particular fabric, because if the fabric has vinyl or plastic in it, it might melt.
