Pumpkins make great succulent planters if you cut off the top, scoop them out, and be sure they drain well (holes in bottom), then add succulent soil provided in most nurseries or home improvement stores.
Your pumpkin will rot before too long but here is one I made using a repurposed bundt pan https://www.homeroad.net/2018/10/repurposed-pumpkin-planter.html
