    Hi Darrel,

Are you looking for a "recipe" or just a method?

There are plenty formulas on the market if you want to go that route. The best tip I've found when spot cleaning is to use lots of towels/rags to absorb the dirt. Once it gets dirty, grab a new one. If you keep using one that's already pulled some stain out of your carpet, it's just going to rub it around instead of removing it. Sounds simple, but it makes a HUGE difference in the amount of dirt you can get up.

Spot Shot is absolutely the best for this problem. Hands down!

It depends on what time the spot is.

Hydrogen peroxide works on most food stains (with no grease nor oil).

3-5 Clear soap drops (not blue Dawn) in 2 cups of warm (not hot) water sprayed on it works, but one must shop vac the soapy water out after gently rubbing and then spray clean water and then towel dry with compression.

Blood, urine, wine & vomit will be eaten by the live enzymes in Nature’s Miracle, if the carpet hasn’t already been exposed to chemicals that would kill the enzymes, like bleach water.
