Use mineral spirit and it will do it. Then use fork to restore your carpet's threads. Make sure you just do it to the paint area. Sometimes mineral spirit can ruin the color so spot check it before you do it though. Hope it helps! Good luck
There is a product called Oops! that is made specifically to remove latex paint. Use this on your carpet to remove a paint accident. I’ve used it on carpet and it totally removed the paint, no problems whatsoever. Buy it in any paint department or store.
