I want to make A padded headboard for queen size bed that mounts to the wall. What is the best fabric and what are the dimensions and I also want it now heads on it

You can use many fabrics, just not too sheer or thin. It is your headboard so of course you know its dimensions better than the reader of your question. Do you mean nail heads?
