Don't mess with it. If you feel like you have an infestation, call in the pros. Remediation is regulated by the EPA. If handled incorrectly, the fines are huge. One family in my neighborhood tried to do the Harry Homowner route. Neighbors all called in the authorities. Parents are in jail, kids with relatives and pets had to be surrendered and obviously they lost the house. Yes, this is an extreme case, but you get the picture. Flipper picked it up for pennies on the dollar.
If you only have surface mold, that's easy to deal with on your own.

Great advice from Naomie, go with it.
Hi Karen - There are several ways to get rid of mold, but most importantly, you need to address the root cause to keep it from returning. This article focuses on the bathroom, but is an overall great article that covers methods of how to remove mold, if bleach is safe to use, and how to prevent it from coming back. Hope this helps! Hugs, Holly
