Hi Janie. You could pick up bags of Halloween rings at the Dollar Tree. Clip off the ring part and attach them to some Halloween ribbon (also from Dollar Tree). Glue these to pins and alligator clips for lapels and hair clips. Good luck Janie and Happy Halloween.
I bought a bag of plain plastic hair clips at Walmart, as well as two bushes of orange and black flowers. I bought a roll of narrow black ribbon and cut the ribbon in 6” lengths. Back home, I got my hot glue gun ready. I glued two strips of ribbon at the top (biggest part) of each clip. Then I glued one leaf on each, then one of the flowers on top of the leaf. That’s all, and they were a big hit with the girls in my church. I haven’t made Halloween lapel pins before. Jewell
What you need is a hot glue gun, glue sticks, and a bunch of pins (you can get them at a craft store) and small barrettes (also in a craft store). While you're there, use your imagination and collect some small ghoulish do-dads. Many are described above, but you can also use stickers, eyeballs, fake fingernails and things on a moss or feathery backing. Then plug in that hot glue gun and start having fun!
