How can I decorate an 11x7 old picture frame?

Have an old pic frame and would love to do something with it that isn't expensive and very easy because I'm new to the DIY Hometalk family. Thanks to all ... Would so appreciate all the enexpensive ideas i can get .. Thanks to all and have a beautiful and awsome day..,,

Depending on your esthetics, there is option of spray painting your frame (after removing glass etc.) You can create texture on the frame using grograin ribbon, pebbles, small seashells,buttons on top of buttons, and THEN spray over them after they are glued onto the frame. Or just spray the frame and let it dry THEN add rhinestones or lace etc. You can consider the pastel sprays for the latter look.

Get acrylic based caulk and a caulk gun. Use caulk to glue seashells, stones, tiles, or broken bits of plate to your frame. Let dry overnight.

If it is ornate, you can get buffing gel in silver, gold, copper, bronze. Just rub the gel over the frame and it will leave the metallic color.

You can also gild it with squares of metallic foil.

if it is plain, get your glue out. Mosaic it, flowers, tiles, paper, glass beads, twigs, moss, crayons, hot wheels cars, whatever.
