The doors may need a good cleaning with TSP (tri-sodium phosphate or TSP substitute) and can then be painted or sanded and stained. New hardware is also an easy and inexpensive update that can be done easily! I hope this helps!

I agree with Cher, or you can clean well, add molding and paint.
I would say fresh coat of paint, new hardware for sure will do a lot
