Can anyone give me any ideas on how I can make use of this bathroom shelf??Since it doesn't have doors,i dnt want or like the look of having shampoos or lotions or anything of that sort out in plain sight...The shelves aren't wide enough for any towels, no matter how I fold them or how small the towel may be...It's not in between the studs, so it's basically just sticking out taking up space in what is already a small bathroom...So PLEASE can anyone give me ideas🤔 to how I can make use of this ugly😝shelf.😦

  • To me it is not ugly at all and I would be jumping for joy if it was in one of my bathrooms. You can add decorative trim and paint to match. I would style with pretty accessories. A glass jar full of decorative soaps, pretty perfume bottles, jars of cotton balls, q-tips, etc. A jar of pretty sea shells or rocks. Roll hand towels and wash cloths and sack in a pyramid style.

    • Gotcha! Kids in the mix is a whole different ballgame. How about faux plants? Or use acrylic or plastic containers so if they get knocked over it isn't the end of the world. The kids won't be little forever, cherish the time with them and style as you wish when they are a bit older and not apt to be a bull in a China shop. Like my brother was when he was little, many many moons ago! 🤗

  • Where is the shelf in your bathroom? Maybe potted plants? They can be faux plants if you want. https://jessicawellinginteriors.com/style-indoor-plants/

Moni....I like the shelf also and would add trim to dress it up and like Naomie and Jessica's ideas. A collection of old medicine bottles would be pretty with a single flower. Candles would work and It's nearing Christmas and could be filled with Santa, Snowmen, Angels, etc. Use your imagination. Good luck

If it's just "stuck on the wall" and you hate it, why not take it out?

Lol thank you for your opinion and yeah your right I could just take it down and belive me I want to,, but I wouldn't know how or where i would even begin or what tools to use and all that other technical stuff that I'm sure would only leave me with many headaches.. That and plus not having the time in my days to even spare on doing such a thing.. lol like I said thank you for the comment tho😊

I would put a pretty paper on the back and use for things like cotton balls, make up, anything that might normally clutter a counter top.

LOL! Thanks for that Moni! OK - I would paint it to match the tile it's against. Take the tile to a paint store to have them match it. Yes, wallpaper on the back of it would be nice as so little will fit on the shelves.

I would get containers the same width as the shelves to house bathroom supplies such as soaps, shampoo, etc. Fill most of the shelves with bathroom "art" such as funky stylized tiny toilets and bathtubs.
