I have had the best time creating easy and inexpensive Halloween decor this year. This spiderweb pumpkin is no exception. It’s unique and seriously fun to make! Make sure you check out my other Halloween DIYs for more great ideas.

Watch the video above to see how you can easily make your own, or keep reading for step by step instructions. Enjoy!

Start by drawing a spiderweb design using a pencil on your pumpkin. I am not an artist by any means, so I just looked up an easy drawing tutorial on YouTube and followed that.

Once you’ve finished drawing the web, use a hot glue gun to carefully go over the design.

Allow the glue to cool and dry, then paint over the design with black acrylic paint. Use a sponge brush to dab the paint into the areas that are hard to paint over.

Once the paint has dried fully. Add faux flowers of your choice to the top of the pumpkin. You can also add a plastic spider crawling to it’s web.

These are such fun and you can really draw any type of simple design on it if you want to have a variety of pumpkins. If you like this project and want to see more, visit my  YouTube Channel. Don’t forget to share your DIY photos with me on  Instagram or Facebook, I can’t wait to see what you make.

Why not peel off the glue and have the color of the pumpkin show up as the spider web?
