How can I repair a sagging car headliner?

    They actually make screw buttons (auto parts stores carry these) for this very thing. If your car is old, like my '83, there may not be enough foam left above the headliner to use these, though. Then I would either have it replaced or make small incisions to insert some gorilla glue in the bad spots.

    The screw buttons work pretty well. There is usually foam under the cloth. You can also try a foam adhesive to get it to stick and help get the screws into the material. Use a chopstick to force the ends under the original trim at the edges.
