How do I paint a bathtub?
We recently re-tiled the walls in our bathtub/shower combination with slate gray tiles. Now the white bathtub looks out of place. Is there a way to paint a porcelain-cast iron tub that will be durable for the long haul?

The kits we have used last around 3 years in our experience. You might want to go with having it professionally done if you want something for a longer period of time.
You can have professionally reglazed. I have had it done a number of times with great success. Had the original tub in a house built in the mid 20's reglazed in 2007 or there about. Still looks brand new today. Keep in mind it is an all adult household that are gentle on things.
