My wood stove has a glass window and the crude builds up. We have a friend who is a chimney sweep and he told us what he does. Using some old black and white newspaper he sprays it very lightly with water and then dips the damp paper into the ashed in the stove and wipes the soot off with that. It is works very well. He then finishes up with by using some windex to give it a very nice look.
Every time I clean my mirrors, they end up having tons of streaks and almost look worse than before I started. What could I use to clean them that won't leave streaks...
