How do I keep my tub and kitchen sink from peeling?

    It sounds like they’ve been coated with something and unfortunately, it’s all going to have to come off and be re-coated properly.

    Sorry, but how can one add more paint to a failing finish?

    All re-coating systems for anything from plastic laminate to bath tubs, needs to be prepped and applied to a T- per the manufacturers’ instructions.

    You can't once it start. You have to strip it all off and have it redone or replace. Sorry .

    Sounds like it would have to be stripped and resurfaced. Take a photo and measurements to a home improvement store and ask for their opinion on repairing vs replacement.
